Corrections policy
Accuracy is a process, and a visible correction is evidence that the process is working.
What we correct
Factual errors, misleading omissions, incorrect attribution, broken context and material presentation mistakes are corrected as soon as they are verified.
How corrections appear
Material changes receive a dated note on the article. The note states the earlier error and the correction without quietly rewriting history.
